Terms of use
Effective 25 October 2026
1. Who sells GlissTouch
GlissTouch is made by Harvey Tran, an independent developer based in [country] (“we”). Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle sells you the license, takes payment, handles sales tax and sends the invoice, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
By downloading or using GlissTouch you agree to these terms.
2. The free version
GlissTouch is free to use, at home or at work, for up to 5 saved gestures. Every action and custom shapes are included.
3. The Pro license
Pro removes the limit on saved gestures. You pay once, $[price]; there’s no subscription.
- One license is for one person, on up to 3 of their Macs at a time.
- Moving it: deactivate it on one Mac in Settings › License, then activate it on another. A license can be deactivated up to 5 times in any 30 days.
- Keep your key to yourself. Don’t share, publish or resell it.
- It works offline. Pro checks in with the license server once a day when you’re online; being offline never turns it off.
- If a license goes back to Free, your saved gestures keep working. You just can’t add more than 5.
4. Permissions and what the app does
GlissTouch needs the macOS Accessibility permission to read trackpad gestures in every app and to press shortcuts for you. It runs only the actions you set up, in whatever app is in front. You’re responsible for what your gestures do, for example closing tabs or locking the screen.
5. Updates
GlissTouch checks for updates once a day and asks before installing one. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings › Updates. Updates may add, change or remove features.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t get around the free limit or the license checks, don’t share or sell license keys, and don’t overload or attack the license server.
7. Third party software
This site uses the Geist typeface (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and Phosphor icons (MIT). Their notices are in credits.txt.
8. No warranty
GlissTouch is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we don’t promise it will be free of errors or work with every app, trackpad or macOS version, to the extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for GlissTouch in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Ending the license
You can stop using GlissTouch at any time. We may revoke a Pro license that is refunded, charged back, or used against these terms, such as a shared key. A revoked license goes back to Free the next time the app checks in.
11. Refunds
You can get a refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country]. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
13. Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update this page and its effective date. Changes don’t apply to a purchase made before them, unless the law requires it.
